| Abstract | This article argues that Re Pelka and Secretary, Department of Family and Community Services changes the interpretation of the marriage-like relationship rule in the Social Security Act 1991 (Cth) in two small, but important ways. It clarifies the financial elements of the rule and suggests an interpretation that would lead to more structured decision-making. |
