dc.description.abstractResearchers like to be surprised by the data. When new data challenge old beliefs, the field becomes primed for discovery. The aim of this commentary is to let the broader psychiatric community know about recent discoveries in schizophrenia epidemiology, and to speculate on how best to leverage these discoveries to advance knowledge.
