The idea of "conspiracy" is not new in Argentine culture. However, what is particularly interesting is to see how the Argentine media exaggeratedly appeal to this notion in the new millennium, and articulate it with a range of (para)literary genres (i.e., feuilleton and thriller) to explain a variety of issues of national concern.
