The yellow dihydroanthracenone dimer, austrocolorin B1 and the unique violet-red 1,4-anthraquinone dimer, austrocolorone B, were isolated from the Tasmanian mushroom Cortinarius vinosipes and their structures and stereochemistry were determined from spectroscopic data.
