| Abstract | This book explores teacher self-efficacy for arts education. It starts to provide answers to current problems with teaching arts education in schools. In many schools, generalist teachers do not feel capable of teaching music, dance, drama, visual arts or media. As such, many children cannot experience the arts in their classrooms. Dr Garvis explores the current landscape by providing two story constellations about teacher self-efficacy in Australia. Findings provide key messages for teachers, teacher educators and policy makers. |
