Junior golf club culture: A Bourdieuian analysis

In this article it is argued that young cadet golfers (8-14 years) are exposed to practices which convey the meaning about what are seen as valued aspects of golf club culture. Exposing young cadets to such representations is to display those aspects of golf habits that are valued. Those cadets whose familial habits are congruous with that represented in the golf club practices, fit more readily into the culture of the golf club.
